Today, or rather Yesterday, was completely wasted with chasing after things in the wrong places and surfing the Net in search of inspiration. Not happy. I will not touch my blasted computer tomorrow until I've sewn myself blind.

And since I have so many pretty pictures, rocklemon</lj> is being Gackt-ified.
(If I had my way and the Money to Do So, I'd have a massive laminated wall collage of the Man as well. Which by my estimate would be about 100 bucks to print. Perhaps some kind soul out there does mass-lamination for free.)

This time in IE so that the alignment of things will look normal to Most People. goldtoast</lj> is also going to be done up but probably with something British instead of Japanese.

EDIT: HOMG I AM GOING TO HAVE 16 T-SHIRTS IN THE MAIL. INSANITY, PEOPLE.

Tomorrow is going to be slightly screwed. 
But that's all right because I've completed a, potentially, new layout for this LJ. 
I figured it was too much of a hassle to hack this one apart so it's been installed at rocklemon instead. 
Featuring X Japan of course. 
I gave up on trying to make things pretty because there's a good reason why I consistently failed art in school. Zilch artistic vision/capabilities. 
So. 
Aimed for something a little more achievable, to hell with pretty. 
Something garish and tacky and loud and marvelous in the way Rock Posters tend to be.
Not sure if the marvelous is there but loud and tacky it is. 

rocklemon and goldtoast are basically just LJ comms whose fabulous and inspired names I rushed to register before anyone else. 
You can see that neither have Any Content, apart from testing that one layout.  
One day I will know what to do with them.

I am now satisfied, hungry, needing a bath and some sleep. Lights Out.

In the process of doing this I generated about 7/8 icons which will remain TEXTLESS for the time-being because choosing fonts and colors always takes forever. And it's about beddie-bye now so I'm just going to stuff them here for archiving and maybe posting in a comm or two, depending on how hideous they look tomorrow morning.

This has to be the shoddiest bit of LJ layout-ing I have ever done. BUT AT LAST, I am no longer staring at Cat In the Hat stripes. (I love the Cat I really do, but the red was starting to burn my eyes a bit.)

Utterly slipshot, done in record time but as long as I have something more pleasant to look at, Joy to the World.
(I do realise that the pseudo-raspberry/cranberry colors are, in fact, very similar to the red and white I had before. My color scheming/GIMP-ing monster is MIA until the exams are over. Therefore, read-able=Good Enough)

I'm not even particularly crazy about Korean dudes, adorable Tae Min excepted and that's still more of a bunny-love than boy-lust.Hell, I don't know if they're any good either. But it would take time and effort to do justice to that Malice Mizer layout I've been plotting to do (especially since half the time is spent gurgling saliva at the screen, ditto for Gackt) SO. MAKE DO MAKE DO. 

In any case, they're boys, they're gay (and in varying levels of denial/acceptance), they're pretty, I'm fairly keen on the movie, HOKAY SLAP A PICTURE UP HERE SOMEWHERE. 

Oh darling Chikage, I hope you turn out as dim-wittedly lovable as you should be.
And yes, Morning Rice is very nice. (It's a rice milk drink thing.)
