Today was actually quite eventful.

Witnessed a poor pizza delivery dude crashing on the road in the rain (seemed to be okay but was taken care of by a nice Caucasian couple who stopped specifically to help him out.)

Sha dislocated her shoulder/arm. (Basically it popped out of the socket and hurt like MOTHERSHITKJJDGJGFDHGVFSGFD. So after accumulating an assorted entourage of over 10 people from various departments in the office, with varying levels of helpfulness, we got her in an ambulance to Raffles Hospital. She just messaged saying she's on the train home and her arm *should* be okay. Tis Good. Whew.)

AND....I GOT MY $80.00 BACK. Zarking Fardwarks. It really is a miracle.

You see on Saturday I went out with Rox and while in Chinatown I ran out of money, having bought several MORE metres of fabric 8D. So, we went to the machine. Where I punched in 80 quid, please and thank you, took my card, receipt and LEFT WITHOUT THE FRICKIN MONEY.

I don't know what planet I was on but it sure wasn't anywhere near here because I only realised that I STILL DID NOT HAVE MY MONEY when I had to pay for something in Spotlight 1.5hrs later. PANIC ANGRY CURSING MISERY WOE ANGST. Long story short, I called the DBS people and told the dude my sad and stupid story.

See, I was actually lucky this time. Nobody was after or next to me when I was using the machine and it was deserted for a good few minutes after so when I forgot the moolah, the machine sucked it right back in.

So, VOILA, they discovered the excess cash in that machine, they knew it was mine, they messaged me and so I Am Very Happy Right Now.

ALSO, I sewed my first article of real clothing yesterday! It's a simple enough project, a pannier for my lolita skirt. (And future Lolita Skirts which are currently still lying around as bags of awesome fabric). Cost me all of SGD$10 in materials and the best part is I have more than enough left-pver to make another (much better) one, perhaps even two. HAH. Sure beats buying a $50++ brand name petticoat. >8D

It poofs just right for my taste. I'm not overly obssessed with fluffy in my skirts but I do have the wear the skirt right and it just looks sad and limp without a petticoat. For those who haven't a bloody clue what I'm talking about, HERE is an exampleof a typical Lolita skirt-poofer aka Pannier/Petticoat. Although mine looks nowhere as lovely as that. (BUT WHO CARES it's going under the skirt anyway where NO ONE WILL EVER SEE IT.)

AND, I've gotten my Japan roll of pictures back. Will scan a few and put them up. Nothing terribly exciting though since we spent alot of time wandering/brisk walking/shopping instead of going camera crazy. I do wish I had a gorgeous photo of the Sweets Forest though. Le Sigh.
